This database contains information from the publication OECD Statistics on International Trade in Services, Volume 2011 Issue 1, Detailed Tables by Service Category. It includes statistical data for the 34 OECD countries,  the European Union, the euro area, and BRIICS countries, as well as links to definitions and methodological notes. The data are based on the fifth and sixth editions of the IMF's Balance of Payments Manual and the Extended Balance of Payments Services Classification (EBOPS) which is consistent with the balance of payments classification but is more detailed.

The database provides data for detailed service categories for each individual OECD country and the European Union (EU). Also included is extra-EU trade data (i.e. excluding intra-European Union trade) for European Union countries, and extra-euro area trade data for the euro area as a whole. For each of the main service category, zone totals are provided for the G7, NAFTA, OECD-Asia and Pacific, OECD-Europe and OECD total. Series are shown in national currency, million US dollars and million euros. Most data cover the period 1985-2009 with extended data also provided for 1970-2009 where available.

The database uses PC-Axis. Technical documentation on the software and the statistics is included in AcrobatTM format.
