The International Trade by Commodity Statistics (ITCS) database is a unique and reliable source of yearly statistical data on imports and exports in OECD and selected non-OECD countries.* It provides detailed data in value (thousand USD) and quantity, by commodity and by partner country.

ITCS is available in a set of CD-ROMs according to the classification used and the length of the time series: 

• SITC Revision 2 (Standard International Trade Classification, United Nations Statistical Papers, 1976) -- data from 1990. Historical series are available separately for the period from 1961 to 1990.
• SITC Revision 3 (Standard International Trade Classification, United Nations Statistical Papers, 1986) -- data from 1990.
• Harmonised System 88 (Harmonised System, 1988 version) -- data from 1990. 

These titles (with the exception of the historical series) are updated several times a year and are provided in user-friendly software, Beyond 20/20™ for Windows™, that allows users to extract and export data, prepare customised graphs and tables, and perform their own analysis.

The International Trade by Commodity Statistics database is available on line via www.SourceOECD.org. The printed edition of International Trade by Commodity Statistics provides a condensed version of the ITCS database (data in value only).
