Provides online access to OECD's unique database on the health economy of its member countries. Data are provided from as early as 1960 onwards for health status of the population, health care resources, health care utilisation, expenditure on health, health care financing, social protection, pharmaceutical market, non-medical determinants of health, demographic references, and economic references. Data are provided for many sub-categories to those listed above. Data are available in both US dollars and national currency values and for many variables, percentage of GDP and per capita values are also available. Users can work in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian or Spanish. The 2008 edition provides data through 2005-2006. NEW: The Japanese and Russian languages are available exclusively in the online version of the database.
